If the temperature is too high, some aging treatment effects may occur. For the solution treated magnesium alloy, fine and dispersed second phase will precipitate in the Solid solution, and for the deformed magnesium alloy, recrystallization and other problems may occur.

Excessive pressure selection may cause deformation twinning in the deformed magnesium alloy, which may interfere with subsequent observation and analysis.
It is recommended to use the Metlab QMAXIS metallographic inlay machine, which has a visual screen. The heating temperature and the pressure inside the inlay chamber can be observed in real time, as well as the cooling temperature and pressure during the cooling process. This facilitates the adjustment and correct selection of subsequent parameters and assists in the subsequent sample preparation process.
