Choose QMAXIS phenolic resin PhenoPowder. This is a thermosetting phenolic resin filled with wood powder. You can choose black or red phenolic resin based on the color of the sample. Curing temperature: 176 ℃, pressure: 290bar, edge protection: good, transparency: opaque, hardness: about 88 Shore.

    2. Materials with high hardness require the edges of the sample to remain intact, and even require corrosion resistance during sample preparation in the later stage.

So, we should choose epoxy resin EpoPowder G with better wear resistance, such as QMAXIS. This is a thermosetting epoxy resin filled with glass. G is the initial letter of Granular, which means that the resin is granular, loose, and does not stir up powder when filled. Curing temperature: 176 ℃, pressure: 290bar, edge protection: excellent, transparency: opaque, hardness: about 94 Shore.

     3. In addition to the requirements of Article 2, if the material is of complex geometric shape or has interfaces such as coatings or coatings.

So, QMAXIS (Kemai) powder epoxy resin EpoPowder F should be chosen. It is also a thermosetting epoxy resin filled with glass. Precious metals, jewelry, and samples that need to be taken out again after observation can also be selected using acrylic resin TransPowder, which can be heated and taken out.

     5. Materials with higher hardness require corrosion resistance during later preparation, and the next step is to test the hardness of the samples.

Please select the QMAXIS (pulse capable) versatile MelaPowder. This is a mineral filled thermosetting melamine resin. Curing temperature: 176 ℃, pressure: 290bar, edge protection: excellent, transparency: opaque, hardness: about 95 Shore. The white surface performs perfectly in hardness comparison testing.

     When preparing samples for SEM and TEM analysis, if copper is not the analysis object.

The copper conductive filler CopperPowder from QMAXIS should be chosen. This is a phenolic resin with copper and minerals added. Very appropriate.

    If the sample is also prepared for SEM and TEM analysis, if carbon is not the analysis object.
