Selected metallographic consumables:
1、 Cutting: We have selected HRC30-45 grinding wheel cutting blades with a hardness of QMAXIS from the United States. There are many models available, and the diameter and thickness can be selected based on the size of the sample being cut. What do I choose? A 10 inch (254mm) resin bonded grinding wheel cutting blade with a thickness of 1.5mm, odorless and more environmentally friendly.
2、 Embedding: We have selected EpoPowder epoxy resin powder from QMAXIS in the United States, with no significant difference in particle or powder.
3、 Grinding and polishing: Diamond grinding discs, polishing fluid, polishing cloth, etc. from QMAXIS, USA were selected, and the list is as follows:

Of course, QMAXIS can also be used for other auxiliary materials, such as cutting coolant, polishing cooling lubricant, etc. If there are other brands available in the laboratory, they can also be used. As long as the quality of the product is qualified, it will not affect the quality of sample preparation, so it is good not to waste it.
