1、 Inlay

Vacuum pumping can remove air from the sample and embedded resin, allowing the embedded resin to penetrate into the pores of the sample, supporting the structure of brittle and fragile samples, improving edge retention effect, and facilitating smooth subsequent grinding and polishing.

The method of using cold embedding requires the use of QMAXIS EpoCure epoxy resin for embedding. The curing time is 6 hours, which has good flowability and low shrinkage. If you need better embedding effect, you can choose QMAXIS EpoFlow. The curing time is 9 hours, which has better flowability, lower shrinkage, and lower exothermic temperature.

2、 Polishing
