Leica EMRES102 multifunctional ion thinning instrument is a unique ion beam grinding equipment with two saddle field ion sources and adjustable ion beam energy to achieve better ion grinding results, giving the sample a higher level of flexibility, with a slope and structure that is lightweight, clean, polished, and cut. Unlike similar devices, it is an independent desktop device that integrates TEM, SEM, and LM sample preparation functions. There are various sample racks available for selection to achieve diversified applications, suitable for both high-energy ion milling processes and very soft samples treated with low ion energy.
